01 Overview

Mixed Media LLC is an audiovisual production and entertainment company based in Burbank, California. We produce film and television, music videos, branded and social content, handle post-production, and provide camera and equipment services. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling personal information responsibly.

This policy applies to information we collect through the Site and through direct communications with us — for example, when you submit a project inquiry, send us a brief, or share materials related to a production. It does not apply to third-party platforms where our work may be hosted or distributed (such as video or social platforms), which operate under their own privacy policies.

By using the Site or contacting us, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

02 Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you interact with us:

Information you provide to us

  • Contact & inquiry details. Your name, email address, and any information you include when you email us or submit the contact form about a film, video, content, or production project.
  • Project briefs & submissions. If you send us a brief, treatment, script, schedule, references, footage, or other materials, we collect the content you choose to share along with any contact details that come with it.
  • Business correspondence. Records of our communications, proposals, agreements, and the requests you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & usage data. Such as your browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits.
  • Cookies & similar technologies. Small files and identifiers used to operate the Site and, where applicable, understand how it is used. See Cookies & tracking.

Information from third parties

If we use analytics providers or you interact with us through a third-party service (for example, a social or video platform), we may receive limited information from those services in accordance with their terms and your settings.

You are not required to submit personal information to browse the Site. If you choose not to provide certain information, we may be unable to respond to your inquiry or evaluate a project.

03 How we use information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about your project, our services, scheduling, and quotes.
  • To review and evaluate project briefs and submissions, and to plan and deliver production, post-production, and equipment services.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our day-to-day operations.
  • To manage our relationships with clients, collaborators, crew, and service providers.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights, our team, and others.
  • For any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection or with your consent.

04 Cookies & tracking

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember preferences, and — where applicable — measure general usage so we can improve it.

  • Essential cookies are necessary for the Site to function and cannot be switched off in our systems.
  • Analytics cookies, if used, help us understand how visitors use the Site on an aggregated basis.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, though some features of the Site may not work as intended without them.

Global Privacy Control. Where required by law, we treat recognized browser-based opt-out signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for the browser or device that sends them.

05 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the limited circumstances below:

  • Service providers. Vendors who perform services on our behalf — for example, website hosting, email, analytics, post-production and creative collaborators, and content delivery or distribution providers — and who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services.
  • Legal & safety. When we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Mixed Media, our clients, our team, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business or assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your direction or consent. When you ask us to share information or otherwise agree to it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.

06 Third-party links & platforms

The Site may link to or embed third-party platforms where our work is hosted or shared, such as video and social media services, and may link to other external sites. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party service you visit.

07 Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, to deliver and support a production, to maintain our business records, and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.

08 Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information and project materials against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09 Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. In particular, if you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), provides the following rights:

  • Right to know / access. To request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to delete. To request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to correct. To request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to opt out. To opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As noted above, we do not sell or share personal information.
  • Right to limit sensitive information. To limit the use of sensitive personal information in certain cases. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted under applicable law.
  • Right to non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Residents of other jurisdictions may have similar rights under their local laws. We will honor applicable rights as required.

10 Exercising your rights

To exercise any of the rights described above, contact us at hello@mixedmediaworld.com using the details in Contact us. Please tell us which right you wish to exercise and include enough information for us to locate your records.

For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will only use the information you provide to verify and process your request. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf where permitted by law; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

11 Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general and professional audience and is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12 International visitors

We operate from the United States, and the Site is hosted and managed there. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

13 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to provide additional notice as appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
